Education

Our programming is centered on restoring dignity and access to quality education for children who have lost so much. This includes comprehensive efforts focused on infrastructure, learning materials, and sustained advocacy:
Infrastructure Renovation: We are undertaking the essential renovation of key educational centers, specifically the Kiken Primary School in Numan and the Tuhura Primary School in Dunma Burthi, Guyuk Local Government Area (LGA). This effort goes beyond simple repairs; it involves creating safe, secure, and conducive learning environments where children can focus on their studies without worry. A rehabilitated classroom is the first step in restoring normalcy and hope.
Provision of Critical Learning Materials: Ensuring a thriving educational environment requires more than just buildings. We are focused on providing children with critical learning materials such as textbooks, writing supplies, and instructional aids. These resources are vital for quality teaching and active student engagement, empowering both students and teachers.
Sustained Advocacy for Education Funding: Recognizing that long-term change requires systemic support, a key component of our programming is advocacy. We organize meetings with influential bodies, such as the High Commissioner for Basic Education Board for Adamawa State, to tirelessly advocate for increased and sustained education funding from the government. This effort is aimed at creating a stable future where local systems can support the children long after our immediate interventions are complete.
