Our Story

Shallom International Ministry (SIM) was founded on January 29, 2011, in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa. The vision, which began several years earlier, was to establish an organization dedicated to uniquely transforming and touching the lives of people, particularly the less privileged and the most neglected, without political, ethnic, gender, or religious discrimination.

Founder Rev. Shafa Salma firmly believes that SIM will make the impossible possible through Christ Jesus and by adhering to sound operational principles. Rev. Salma’s research into the failures of public institutional systems, particularly in Nigeria and African nations, identified the problem largely as a failure of leadership—a core belief that guides the ministry.

SIM embraces uncompromising standards and values, founded on the principle that the right thing must be done rightly at the right time. Its motto is "Transforming and Touching Lives."

The main aim is to make a transformational impact in the lives of the needy, put smiles on their faces, train exceptional leaders, and advance the Kingdom of God. Adopting a holistic approach, SIM integrates spiritual evangelical programs with social human development and poverty reduction projects, focusing on the general well-being of man and his environment.
